LAFAYETTE, La. (KMDL-FM) – A bit of sad news if you’re a fan of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and love to do one-stop shopping for all things Vermilion and White. The Ragin’ Cajuns Store, located at 1805 Johnston St. near campus, will be closing this Friday, February 27, 2026.

What the Store Announced on Social Media
The announcement was made in a Facebook post. It reads in part: “After many great memories, the Ragin’ Cajuns Store Heritage location will officially close on Friday, February 27. We will be open that day from 10 AM – 6 PM for your final shopping visit.”
Why This Location Mattered to Fans
As you can see in the above post, the Student Union on campus still has a great selection of Ragin’ Cajuns merchandise. However, this location was easier for the general public to get in and out of.
