SAN ANTONIO – The victim of a fatal crash in San Antonio over the weekend was the sole witness to the fatal shooting of Ruben Ray Martinez by Homeland Security Investigations in South Padre Island last March, according to Newsweek.
The San Antonio Medical Examiner confirmed Joshua Orta, 25, died in a car accident early on Saturday morning near the I-35 frontage road and Powell Road.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, Orta was speeding when he attempted to take a curved exit. He lost control of the steering wheel, which caused a crash, and the vehicle caught fire. Several people in the vehicle were able to escape and tried to help Orta, who was trapped, but were unable to. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS…
