by Randy Pierce • Seven felony charges have been filed against a St. Louis man whom law enforcement authorities pursued from a location west of Collinsville into St. Louis on Feb. 18, before apprehending him.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, this scenario actually began the previous Saturday when officers responded to a call around 11 p.m. that shots had been fired at a residence in the 3200 block of VFW Lane, which is north of Collinsville Road in the State Park Place area of unincorporated Collinsville.
A window in a home and several vehicles there were damaged after being struck by gunfire but no one was injured then a subsequent investigation resulted in the identification of a suspect who was known by the victims of those crimes…
