I nearly drove right past this little roadside deli the first time. That would have been a serious mistake because it turned out to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Arkansas.
A couple of locals pointed me there, talking it up like it was common knowledge, so I figured it was worth a stop. The place has that easygoing small-town feel where nobody seems in a hurry and regulars greet each other on the way to the counter.
I usually try to get there before the lunch crowd shows up, when things move a little slower and you can take your time looking over the menu. Nothing about the place feels fancy, but that is part of the charm…
