DC woman sentenced to 70 months in prison for ‘violent’ armed carjacking

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. woman was sentenced to 70 months in prison for her role in a 2024 armed carjacking in Southeast, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced on Tuesday.

The defendant, 25-year old Angel Hall, had pleaded guilty on Sept. 23 to one charge of carjacking and one charge of aiding and abetting. Her co-defendant, 56-year old Brian Allison, also pled guilty to the same charges. Along with the prison term, Hall will serve three years of supervised release.

According to court documents, Hall and Allison followed a woman into a takeout restaurant at 4500 block of Benning Road, Southeast at around 11 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2024. There, they waited for her to get food before following her to her car…
