New Mexico Vets for Pets hosts first food distribution in International District

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A UNM professor is making a difference by teaching, grooming dogs and helping veterans in need through his organization, Vets for Pets.

Finnie Coleman, founder of New Mexico Vets for Pets, hosted the first food distribution in the International District Wednesday. His organization partnered with Albuquerque Community Safety and Roadrunner Food Bank to provide basic needs to homeless veterans.
