Five people charged in Albany gun, drug investigation

ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — Five Albany residents have been arrested following a gun and drug investigation by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

Members of the Sheriff’s SCOPE Unit searched apartments on North Allen Street, Washington Avenue, Third Avenue and North Main Avenue.

Deputies say they recovered approximately 215 grams of crack cocaine, six grams of fentanyl packaged for distribution, digital scales, packaging materials, about three pounds of cannabis, two high capacity ammunition feeding devices, and two firearms — a Bryco Arms .380 caliber semi automatic handgun and a Taurus .357 revolver…
