CENTERVILLE, Va. — Washington Gas said on Tuesday that it has found and repaired the source of the gas leak that caused a massive house explosion and forced dozens of homes to be evacuated. More than a week later, several Centreville residents are still out of their homes.
“We are focused on the remaining 19 homes that are still under an evacuation order. We are grateful for our customers’ patience as we work methodically and with the highest level of caution to help remaining residents return home safely and with confidence,” Washington Gas said in a statement.
