PITTSFIELD TWP., MI – Police responded Tuesday evening to two crashes, one resulting in injuries, a little more than a mile apart.
Two vehicles collided in the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Carpenter Road around 6 p.m. on Feb. 24, said Jason Hohner, deputy chief of the Pittsfield Township Police Department. One vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old from Pittsfield Township, had been turning left from westbound Michigan Avenue onto southbound Carpenter Road. The other vehicle, driven by a 33-year-old from Pittsfield Township, had been going east on Michigan Avenue.
Both drivers were treated at local hospitals for lacerations and internal injuries, Hohner said. They are both stable…
