Seneca Nation receives federal approval for Grand Island property

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Seneca Nation has received federal approval for more than 200 acres of land on Grand Island, officials announced Thursday.

The United States Department of the Interior approved the nation’s application to place 207 acres of land in restricted fee status, notifying the nation on Tuesday.
