JOHNS ISLAN S.C. (WCIV) — A Johns Island man was arrested Wednesday on a charge tied to the sexual exploitation of minors, Attorney General Alan Wilson announced.
Martin Gerado Correal Sierra, 60, was taken into custody by Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office after authorities received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the Attorney General’s Office. The tip led investigators to Sierra, who was found in possession of child sexual abuse material, officials reported.
