CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston City Council on Tuesday approved a settlement with Clemson University, clearing the way for demolition of the historic West Ashley vegetable laboratory on Savannah Highway.
The decision by city council comes after Charleston’s Design Review Board denied demolition in January by a 4-2 vote.
