A pair of new sandwich shop locations have made their debut in the Midlands.
Stacked, which offers bagel sandwiches, wraps, salads and more, opened on Feb. 24 at 2835 Devine St. in Columbia and 5580 Sunset Blvd. in Lexington, per their respective social media accounts. The Stacked shops are each located in spots that formerly were Sully’s Steamers restaurants.
With a slogan suggesting that their offerings are “More than a mouthful,” Stacked has a number of breakfast and lunch offerings, including a host of “signature stacks” that can be served as a wrap or on a toasted or steamed bagel. During a Wednesday lunch this reporter tried the “Back in the Game” stack on an everything bagel, which came with roast beef, turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese and special sauce.
The menu at Stacked also has a selection of salads. Among them is the “Not” Cho Chef Salad. That one comes with romaine, turkey, ham, bacon, Monterrey jack cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, Doritos and honey mustard…
