Dayton man facing charges for alleged rape, drug offenses against juvenile

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man is facing six charges after the Dayton Police Department received a sexual assault complaint from a juvenile.

Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office’s Public Information Officer, Greg Flannagan, said a 17-year-old girl told officials she was sexually assaulted and supplied drugs mutiple times in 2025.

The juvenile accused 52-year-old Shane Kintz, who is now facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of Rape (Substantially Impaired Victim)
  • Corrupting Another with Drugs (Schedule one or two) (Juvenile)
  • Corrupting Another with Drugs (Schedule three, four or five) (Juvenile)
  • Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Schedule one or two)
  • Possession of Drugs (Schedule three, four or five)
  • Two counts of Sexual Battery (Substantially Impaired)
