A proposed 17-room boutique hotel with a restaurant, rooftop bar, and speakeasy would both replace and pay homage to the site of a recently closed Southern comedy dinner theater.
In a project sourced by Aileron Management, PSi Design, and Seamon Whiteside, the structure at 101 College St. in downtown Greenville would convert the former space of Café & Then Some and past car dealership into an independently operated niche hotel titled The Banter Hotel.
