Los Angeles County officials investigated the death of a hiker on the Coulter Pine Trail in Glendora on Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials received a call reporting an injured hiker at 12:37 p.m. and responded to the area of Big Dalton Canyon Road and Glendora Mountain Road.
