From big rigs to RC cars, from today’s modern machines to yesterday’s NASCAR Cup cars, from static displays to live drifting, the Outside Groove Racing Show had something for everyone. As the result, the Knoxville, Tennessee, event drew a record crowd and its largest number of exhibitors.
The show was chock full of events within the event, with seminars for promoters and racers, various contests, simulators and more. If you wanted to have fun, there were plenty of opportunities.
Diversity of the motorsport scene in Knoxville took center stage. Various motorsport disciplines were on display: dirt ovals, paved ovals, UTVs, drift, road racing, autocross, hillclimb, rally, karting, RC cars and more.
A robust Youth in Racing section highlighted the many opportunities for youth to get involved in the sport.
A happening swap meet section offered racers the chance to clear out their garages and for others to take advantage of lightly used equipment that can help them go racing this season.
