HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Longs man has been sentenced to prison on multiple drug-related charges.
The Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced on Thursday that Gerald Steele, 49, pleaded guilty to second-offense trafficking cocaine and second-offense possession with intent to distribute heroin.
Steele was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Due to the charges, Steele’s sentence is considered violent and serious under South Carolina’s three-strikes law. The solicitor’s office says Steele is not eligible for parole…
