NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man who was injured in an Old Hickory stabbing Wednesday night is facing a domestic assault charge, authorities said.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the incident was reported at approximately 10:52 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from the 4800 block of Smokey Drive.

Law enforcement told News 2 the preliminary investigation indicates the suspect was attacking his girlfriend when their son came to her aid and stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
