Shelter dog Sunny finds her happily ever after with the Sousas

LINCOLN – After 147 days in the shelter, 10-year-old American Staffordshire terrier, Sunny, has finally found her fur-ever home.

Sunny, and her “sister,” Nessa, were surrendered to the Cumberland/Lincoln Animal Shelter in September. Lincoln Animal Control Officer Alexis Williams explained that Sunny and Nessa’s family was moving out of the country and could not take either pet with them.
