Roanoke businesses share current thoughts on Williamson Road project

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke community is in month five of the six-month trial period of the Williamson Road Demonstration Project. Officials reconfigured a busy section of Williamson from four lanes to three lanes, including a center turn lane.

Traffic engineers continue to gather real-time data from the corridor, including traffic volume, vehicle speeds, and crash numbers. Now, they’re seeking community feedback via an online survey to help them make more informed decisions.
