(KRON) — An 18-year-old San Jose man faces several felony charges, including possession of a machine gun, after prosecutors allege he used a 3D printer in his bedroom — right by his personal collection of sneakers — to manufacture an arsenal of ghost guns. The teenager lived with his family at a home on Peach Court.
Illegal assault weapon, meth and Xanax found in Livermore home, say police
Jacob Reyes did not enter a plea when he appeared for a court arraignment Thursday afternoon, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
“Near his Air Jordan sneaker collection, Jacob Reyes had two working 3D weapon printers and 27 finished or almost finished guns in his room. Some of the guns were modified to act as machine guns,” said the DA’s office in a statement to KRON4.
Ammunition was also seized in Reyes’ bedroom, added officials. The date and time of the suspect’s home search was not disclosed.
