SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Sarasota County dispatcher snapped some majestic pictures of bald eagles that were hanging out on a radio tower on Thursday.
The photos posted to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page document the rare eagle sighting, showcasing the birds, which are between 1 and 4 years old, as they seemingly pose for the camera.
Because of their age, the eagles have yet to develop the white heads and tails for which bald eagles are renowned.
