Mob of teens attack woman who tried to stop perceived bullying at Northern Virginia mall

ARLINGTON, Va. — A woman was attacked by five teenagers after she tried to stop them from attacking another teen, Arlington Police said.

Just before 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, the woman said she noticed a group of around 20 teenagers outside Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, also known as Pentagon City Mall, on the 1200 block of South Hayes Street. Some of them, she said, were pouring a drink onto another teenager. When she tried to intervene, five of them became aggressive, police claimed, and assaulted her.
