TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Excitement is growing in Tallahassee ahead of the Banana Ball games this week at Doak Campbell Stadium.
But it’s not just about the games. For the Banana’s head choreographer, Maceo “Mace” Harrison, said it’s about giving back. On Wednesday, he chose Raa Middle School to teach his first-ever community outreach dance workshop.
“A lot of knowledge and then also self-confidence, especially now in 2026, people criticize, they criticize you for anything, and for these kids, definitely nowadays, it hurts their self-esteem, it hurts their confidence. So I’m trying to bring that back and be like it’s okay to be weird, if they think you’re weird, okay,” Harrison said…
