Former Model Accuses “Back to the Future” Actor Crispin Glover of Assault and Captivity in New Lawsuit

A former model, identified as Jane Doe, has filed a lawsuit against actor Crispin Glover, known for his role in “Back to the Future,” alleging that he held her “captive,” subjected her to “sex and free labor,” and physically assaulted her. The complaint, lodged Wednesday in the Superior Court of California, details a disturbing series of events, claiming the 61-year-old actor “groomed” her, “lured” her to his Los Angeles residence, and choked her during an altercation in March 2024.

Neither Glover nor the Los Angeles Police Department has yet responded to requests for comment. However, a representative for Glover issued a statement to TMZ, vehemently denying the accusations.

“He denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms,” the representative stated. They further asserted that on March 2, 2024, “Mr.

Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence.” According to the representative, Glover contacted the LAPD, who investigated the incident and arrested Jane Doe.

They also noted that these events are substantiated by law enforcement records and a restraining order Glover filed against Jane Doe, which was later dismissed.

The lawsuit outlines that the 30-year-old woman initially connected with Glover through social media in 2015. For several years, he allegedly “persistently messaged her to come to Los Angeles” and “often make strange advances,” though she considered him a friend. The complaint claims the two met in Germany in 2023, where Glover allegedly “showed off several items of Nazi memorabilia from his collection.”

In 2024, the lawsuit states, Glover “lured” the woman to his home under the pretense of offering her accommodation and a job as an assistant. “He promised her a home and a job if she came to Los Angeles,” the complaint reads.

“But when Ms. Doe took the bait and uprooted herself and moved to Los Angeles, she found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr.

Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live in girlfriend/sex slave.” The complaint explicitly alleges she “was essentially held captive and used for sex and free labor.”

Furthermore, the lawsuit accuses Glover of restricting the woman’s movements and interactions. After she reportedly left his residence without permission in March 2024, he allegedly locked her out.

When she attempted to re-enter, the complaint asserts that Glover “attacked her, grabbing her neck and choking her in a headlock.” A photograph of a neck wound has been included in the filing as evidence.

The lawsuit details that Glover subsequently called the police on the woman and filed a restraining order, which was ultimately dismissed. The plaintiff claims she is “still homeless and emotionally scarred from the traumatic events with Mr.

Glover.” She is seeking unspecified damages, suing the actor on grounds of battery, fraud, and wrongful eviction.

Glover’s representative reiterated his intent to “vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief,” expressing confidence that “the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication.”

Crispin Glover is widely recognized for his portrayal of George McFly in the original 1985 “Back to the Future” film. His filmography also includes notable roles in the 2000 adaptation of “Charlie’s Angels” and the 2010 version of “Alice in Wonderland.”
