UnityPoint Health nurses honored as 2026 Great Iowa Nurses

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — UnityPoint Health is recognizing 38 nurses across its Iowa facilities and affiliates who were selected as 2026 Great Iowa Nurses, an annual honor celebrating outstanding contributions to patients, colleagues and the nursing profession.

“I’m incredibly proud of our nurse honorees and I’m truly grateful for the positive impact they’ve made on the lives of others,” said UnityPoint Health Chief Nursing Officer Sarah Brown. “They go above and beyond every day, providing the care experience we want our own loved ones to receive.”

This year’s list includes a record 21 nurses from UnityPoint Health – Cedar Rapids:
