Many of the reasons for the opening of the clinic included the need for accessible healthcare. For those families in North Heights, arranging transportation to get across town for a doctor’s appointments includes changing work schedules, arranging for a ride, paying for a ride, or relying on limited public transportation. So the need for a medical clinic close to home was a must.
