Sidewalk-mapping robots roll through Burleson as city builds ADA plan

The city of Burleson is using robots to help build an ADA transition plan to ensure residents and visitors with disabilities can navigate the city safely.

The effort requires assessing more than 200 miles of sidewalks. For the next month, robots operated by Oregon-based Daxbot will roll through Burleson to collect measurements and images to identify potential barriers, including cracks, uplifts, tripping hazards and obstructions.
