DES MOINES, Iowa (WHO) — Iowa Bird Rehabilitation took in three bald eagles in just one day, all suffering from the same illness — lead poisoning.
Jenni Boonjakuakul, Owner of Iowa Bird Rehabilitation, said that one eagle was rescued along the Des Moines River, while the other two came in from Marion County.
