BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) — Bogalusa mayor Tyrin Truong and fiscal administrator Robert Neilson took their months-long feud to the legislative audit advisory council meeting in Baton Rouge.
At the meeting, lawmakers discussed alleged claims of Neilson “overstepping” his authority as the fiscal administrator. Council Vice-chair Jay Luneau recalled an instance when Neilson reportedly moved Truong out of the office he was working in and into another one.
“Did it save any money by doing that?” Luneau said. “Did it cut down on your utility bills, or did it save on insurance? Probably not. Ok. I’m struggling with trying to figure out how that fits your role as an administrator. And there were some other things too.”

“But that one kind of stuck in my head about how that would happen, and quite frankly, the comments about you tearing up the emails or deleting the emails from the mayor, that flies directly in the face of what you’re supposed to be doing.”…
