Lubbock fire tackles blaze at 104th Street structure

LUBBOCK, Texas–Just after 2:15 p.m., Lubbock Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a residential structure fire near the 3800 block of 104th Street.

The caller advised that a fire had started in the garage and was quickly spreading to the entire residence. Crews arrived on scene to find smoke pushing out of the eves of the home.

More crews arrived on scene, and the fire was contained to the wall of the garage with minor smoke damage to the adjacent rooms.
