TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Detectives with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Belle Rose woman in connection with a Special Victim’s Unit investigation.
According to detectives, the TPSO’s SUV conducted an investigation into allegations of a juvenile having “inappropriate communications” with 29-year-old Emma Katherine Prejean. The detectives said they met with the victim and a family member who confirmed details of the communications and gave them documents of it.
In the interview, the victim identified Prejean as the alleged suspect. This investigation uncovered a “series of digital evidence” that connected Prejean to allegations of child sexual abuse, according to SVU detectives.
