Another arrest in student-led Kan. anti-ice protest and fight

JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating an altercation that led to an arrest during a student protest in Olathe have made another arrest.

Just after 2p.m. February 20, police were dispatched to a reported fight in the area of College Boulevard and South Lone Elm Road in Olathe, according to Police Sergeant John Moncayo.

Officers learned there was a planned anti-ICE protest near Olathe Northwest High school when they confronted and started a fight with students who were counter protesting them. During the incident, approximately four students were injured…
