MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Meridian police arrested two 47-year-old men Thursday afternoon after officers said they watched one of them take property from an unoccupied vehicle, then led police on a high-speed pursuit before being caught with cocaine, methamphetamine, and a synthetic drug.
On Feb. 26, 2026, at about 2:30 p.m., members of the Meridian Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team were in the area of Linder and Cherry when they observed a man taking property out of an unoccupied vehicle and then drive away in another vehicle with the property, police said.
