ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The driver who crashed a stolen vehicle into an Albuquerque Police sergeant’s unit changed his plea in court on Thursday.

Andrew Sandoval pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer with no injury or great bodily harm. Sandoval ran a red light and crashed into the sergeant’s vehicle at the intersection of Wyoming Boulevard and Copper Avenue while the sergeant was responding to a call in 2025.
The sergeant was taken to the hospital and did not suffer any serious injuries…
