Police arrest 3 girls at Kapolei Middle School following after-school fight

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) — Police arrested three girls following a fight that took place after school at Kapolei Middle School on Tuesday.

The fight involving two students at Kapolei Middle School happened after school at 2:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, according to a letter that Principal Daryl Agena sent out to parents and guardians. The altercation escalated which led the Honolulu Police Department to come to the campus and arrest three girls.

As police officers tried to place one of the girls into custody, other girls allegedly interfered in which officers sprayed pepper spray. One of the girls was arrested for third-degree assault and the other two girls were arrested for resisting arrest…
