Bond hearing for Stark County man accused of firing officer’s gun during arrest

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (WOIO) – The Stark County man accused of grabbing and firing a New Philadelphia officer’s gun during an arrest, has a bond hearing in Tuscarawas County Court of Common Pleas Thursday.

Earlier this month, Dyllan Riter was indicted on the charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, and grand theft of a firearm.

He pleaded not guilty to those charges at his arraignment on Tuesday.
