A Hopkinsville man who had been charged with second-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault has had those charges dismissed as of February 11.
That’s according to Christian County Court officials, who say the dismissal came following evidentiary hearings earlier in February, where the mother of the victim in the case reportedly testified that the events that led to the charges didn’t occur as previously stated.
Thirty-eight-year-old Tyrone Pannell of Hopkinsville had been accused of assaulting an 8-year-old, but those charges have been found to be unsubstantiated and were dismissed from the court system.
