CLEVELAND — Michael Paul Sokolowski, a longtime Cleveland restaurant owner whose vision helped sustain a family business that served generations of diners, has passed away at the age of 65.
According to his obituary, Sokolowski died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 24, surrounded by family and friends.
Sokolowski was the co-owner of Sokolowski’s University Inn, a landmark restaurant that operated in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood for nearly a century.
