IRMO, S.C. — An earthquake has once again rattled the Lake Murray area of Lexington County, according to reports from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The agency reports a 3.0-magnitude earthquake with a preliminary location near the dam, not far from North Lake Drive and just south of Yacht Cove and Hollywood Point.
Less than 30 minutes later, more than 250 people have reported feeling the earthquake using the USGS online reporting tool. The reports were also widespread, covering parts of Columbia to the east and Red Bank to the south…
