A Texas-based burger chain that has beefed up its South Carolina presence in recent years is set to debut a new location in the Upstate.
Whataburger, which has restaurants in a number of states, will open a new spot at 50 Westinghouse Road in Pendleton at 9 a.m. March 12, according to a news release from the company. That’s just north of the Boscobel Golf and Country Club and just south of Tri-County Technical College.
On opening day, the first 100 customers who arrive via the dining room or drive-thru will receive a free honey butter chicken biscuit or breakfast taquito, plus a “Whataburger swag bag,” the company said…
