FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) – The counsel for Fayette County Public Schools board chair Tyler Murphy is responding to a petition for removal.
In January, Rep. Matt Lockett (R) who represents parts of Fayette County, filed a petition to remove Murphy from his position. Lockett claimed Murphy breached public trust and engaged in ‘a variety of inappropriate acts, any of which constitutes a misdemeanor in office under Section 68 of the Kentucky Constitution.’
