The Los Angeles Metro transit system announced the upcoming May 8 opening of their new D line on Feb. 26, and they celebrated the news with some surprisingly R-rated merch!
“Give the gift of the D before opening day 5.8.2026!” the public service shared on X beside a photo of their new “Ride The D” t-shirts. The cheeky look comes in two varieties: unisex heavyweight and crop top, and will set you back $21 and $20 respectively. Both are made of 100% cotton, and will help riders “commemorate this Los Angeles transit milestone,” according to the website.
Citizens had mixed reactions to the drop, leaving some coveting the t-shirts and others outraged. “Gonna get odd looks in public, but 100% worth,” said one, who shared a screenshot of their confirmed purchase, while another added, “Whichever of y’all decided to design this shirt needs a raise.”…
