Local landmark society announces five historically impactful sites to revitalize

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Landmark Society of Western New York has announced on Thursday its 2026 Five to Revive, which is a list that finds opportunities for targeted strategic revitalization, aiming to preserve various sites and buildings.

List of locations:

  • Peirson Cobblestone House. Located in the Village of Newark, Wayne County.
  • Seneca Falls Machine Company Plant. Located in Seneca Falls, Seneca County.
  • Morgan Manning House Museum. Located in the Village of Brockport, Monroe County. It was damaged in a fire over a year ago, spreading to the basement, tearing through floors and walls, causing the roof to partially collapse.
  • Cutler Mail Chute Company Building. Located in Rochester, Monroe County
