AKRON, Ohio — Drivers may see some disruption along the Ohio Turnpike starting this weekend.
Traffic zone changes are going in at Toll Plaza 180 (Akron) from State Route 8 in Boston Heights on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Ohio Turnpike said there may be travel delays.
The westbound entry ramp and westbound exit ramp to the plaza will be reduced to a single lane until Nov. 1, 2026 with traffic signals in place to ensure safety in both directions. The move comes as the bridge deck over the Ohio Turnpike at the plaza, including both ramps, will be replaced…
