Lafayette man arrested in connection with Opelousas shooting

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) — A Lafayette man wanted in connection with a shooting in Opelousas has been arrested, authorities said.

Freddie Lee Lewis, Jr., 42, of Lafayette, was arrested by Opelousas Police and charged with principal to aggravated criminal damage to property and principal to attempted second degree murder.
