The end is in sight for the I-80 reconstruction project.
In a press conference this morning, IDOT officials announced that phase three work is set to begin the week of March 2nd. One lane will be open in either direction on Chicago Street while crews add temporary pavement for the full construction project, which will see two lanes open in either direction.
