WASHINGTON (7News) — Nearly a dozen families were forced out of their homes in Southeast, D.C., and some neighbors told 7News On Your Side they had to save themselves after a DC Water main break.
Water flooded into their homes while some were sleeping in early February.
Homes on 51st Street near the Marshall Heights neighborhood, once safe havens, are now hazards. Some homes have orange danger signs on their front doors. A neighbor reported that they heard a pop on the street, and two days later, a disaster occurred…
