Cottonwood Heights is moving forward with a plan to build a condo building along Wasatch Boulevard near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Earlier this month, the Cottonwood Heights Planning Commission voted to approve a plat amendment for the Apres condominium project, a 36-unit development located at 7367 E. Canyon Centre Parkway. The project is zoned as Mixed Use (MU) and is located within the city’s Gateway Overlay District, which carries specific design guidelines.
The condos are a part of the city’s Canyon Centre Master Development, a 10.89-acre mixed-use project that was initially approved by the city in 2014. While much of the development has been completed, including a Courtyard by Marriott hotel and an Eight Settlers Distillery and Restaurant, other elements have yet to be built…
